The Twingo Cup series, featuring drivers from the F4 CEZ Academy project, is ready for the second round of the season at the fast Salzburgring circuit, which will host the series for the very first time.
Following the opening round at Grobnik two weeks ago, the championship now moves to Austria for another race weekend. The event will include not only track time behind the wheel of the Renault Twingo, but also a wide range of F4 CEZ Academy activities, including physical, mental and media training, as well as simulator sessions.
A total of 18 F4 CEZ Academy drivers will take part in the event and are looking forward to competing on the fast and sweeping old school Salzburgring circuit, where slipstreaming can make the difference between victory and defeat. The track is one of the most slipstream dependent circuits on the calendar, making strategy just as important as outright speed. Success will depend not only on taking the perfect racing line through the corners, but also on making smart tactical decisions about when to attack and when to wait for the right opportunity.
Racing at Salzburgring will be very different from anything we have seen so far this season, so don’t miss the chance to watch the F4 CEZ Academy drivers in action. Both races will take place on Sunday, at 8:15 and 15:10.
