F4 CEZ Academy racing program kicks off this weekend at Grobnik

The drivers taking part in the F4 CEZ Academy project are heading to the Automotodrom Grobnik in Croatia this weekend, where they will undergo an intensive training program under the guidance of experienced coaches, highlighted by their first competitive outings in the Twingo race car.

A total of seventeen drivers from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland, Hungary and Italy are entered for the opening event in Grobnik. Among those taking part as a competitor will also be Formula 1 commentator Pavel Fabry.

The academy participants face a packed schedule from Thursday to Sunday. In addition to racing the Twingo, the program will include several other training disciplines introduced during the winter phase of the F4 CEZ Academy.

Activities such as fitness training, media coaching, mental preparation, simulator sessions, a knowledge quiz and of course the Twingo races are all scored, meaning every result counts.

Twingo Cup qualifying gets underway on Friday at 17:55, Race 1 starts on Saturday at 16:25, and Race 2 is scheduled for Sunday at 13:35.
