Tomáš Pekař opens the final weekend with fastest lap in qualifying

The final chapter of the 2025 Clio Cup Bohemia is here. The weekend at Balaton Park began with Saturday morning’s qualifying, which was won by Tomáš Pekař, taking another step toward the title.

On both the championship table and the qualifying timesheets, the top three drivers were the same: Tomáš Pekař, Bartłomiej Mirecki and Julian Smiechowski. Pekař set the outright fastest lap, finishing 0.392 seconds ahead of his title rival Mirecki. Smiechowski was only 0.024 seconds further back.

Pekař arrived in Hungary with a 28-point lead over Mirecki and his qualifying win earned him another point, further extending his advantage over the Polish driver.

Fourth and fifth went to Alxander Spetz and Nikodem Sobczyk, who are locked in a battle for fourth place in the standings. Nico Wuest was sixth fastest, with Filip Dziwok in seventh. Matis Preša placed eighth, Dejan Robida ninth and Filip Bartoš completed the top ten in a field of 23 cars.
