Race 2 of the Twingo Cup at Slovakia Ring delivered another drag race to the chequered flag. The ever-spectacular one-make series didn’t disappoint and produced one of the best shows of the weekend.
As always, the race was all about slipstreaming and looking for any advantage over rivals. Štefančič and Treneski managed to break away from the rest, but in the closing stages the safety car was deployed, erasing their gap. That set up a one-lap shootout. Treneski launched his attack in the final corner, but Štefančič held him off and took victory by just 0.032 seconds at the line.
Marko Blaževski completed the podium in third, Nikola Jančič finished fourth, and Troy Sovička rounded out the top five.
