The Twingo Cup returns to Slovakia Ring, where the 2025 season began at the end of June. Most of the drivers on the grid already know the track, but that doesn’t mean they will have a big advantage. With these small cars on the fast Slovakia Ring layout, it’s all about pack racing and slipstreaming.
So far, Nik Štefančič and Nik Poljanec have dominated the season, each winning two races and putting on a show, especially in the previous round at Autodrom Most, where the decisive move for victory came in the last corner of the final lap.
Štefančič leads the standings with a 36-point advantage, as Poljanec did not compete in the opening round of the season. However, Poljanec proved at Most that he knows how to win.
Rookie Stefan Treneski is also showing strong form, fighting for podium finishes in every race. He claimed his first podium at Most with a third-place result, and thanks to consistent top-five performances, he currently sits third in the standings.
Once again, more than twenty Twingo Cup cars will line up at Slovakia Ring, promising a spectacular show for the fans in the grandstands. Race 1 is scheduled for Saturday at 16:20, with Race 2 taking place on Sunday at 16:15.
