Tomáš Pekař became this year’s champion after his win in Brno

Tomáš Pekař can now celebrate the Clio Cup title. After a battle with Bartek Mirecki in the first half of the race, he managed to take the lead and secure the victory. He scored one point for qualifying third and 25 points for win, that means, that no one can surpass him in the driver standings, and he has officially become the champion of Clio Cup.

Bartek Mirecki and Nikodem Szobczyk started from the front row, with Tomáš Pekař and David Dziwok lining up behind them. Nik Štefančič and Miha Primožič started from the third row. Mirecki held the lead, with Szobczyk in second, but after the second corner, Tomáš Pekař launched an attack on Szobczyk and took second place as they entered the stadium section of the track.

Julian Smiechowski moved up through the field and by the end of the first lap was in fifth, ahead of Nik Štefančič. Pekař began to put pressure on leader Mirecki, with both drivers fighting for every inch of the track. This provided an opportunity for the drivers behind them—Szobczyk, Dziwok, Smiechowski, Štefančič, and Primožič—to stay close.

On the seventh lap, Pekař took the lead, moving closer to the championship title. He gradually created a gap to Mirecki, who was busy defending his position from Dziwok and Štefančič.

The race ended in this order: Tomáš Pekař took the win, Mirecki finished second, and David Dziwok came in third. Nik Štefančič finished fourth, and Julian Smiechowski rounded out the top five.

In the Clio Cup Trophy, Valter Nežič won his class, with Clio Cup debutant Martin Knápek finishing second and Marko Kazarka third.
