Bartek Mirecki wins last race of the season with final lap pass

As the championship fight had already been decided in the first race of the day, there was still fight for win in the second race later in the day, and it´s winner became Bartek Mirecki.

Nikodem Sobczyk and Miha Primožič started from the front row, with Julian Smiechowski and Nik Štefančič behind them. David Dziwok and Bartek Mirecki lined up in the third row, and seventh-placed Tomáš Pekař started next to Filip Dziwok.

Sobczyk maintained the lead with Primožič in second, but Tom Gruenfeld spun off the track in the stadium section, prompting the deployment of the safety car.

The race was restarted after a few laps behind the safety car, with Nikodem Sobczyk still leading, followed by Miha Primožič, Bartek Mirecki, David Dziwok, Nik Štefančič, Julian Smiechowski, Petr Pekař, and eighth-placed Simon Sikhart.

Mirecki soon passed Primožič, who then came under pressure from David Dziwok. Meanwhile, Pekař was attacking Smiechowski. Pekař made contact with Smiechowski in one of the corners, he allowed Smiechowski to retake the position to avoid a possible penalty from race control.

Eventually, Pekař overtook Smiechowski, and Dziwok also passed Primožič in the stadium section.

Mirecki closed the gap to Sobczyk, and the battle for victory began. Mirecki took the lead on the final lap of the race, and despite Sobczyk’s determined efforts, he couldn’t reclaim first place. Mirecki won the second Clio Cup race in Brno, as well as the final race of the season.

David Dziwok finished third, with Miha Primožič in fourth, Julian Smiechowski fifth, Nik Štefančič sixth, and Tomáš Pekař dropping to seventh. Simon Sikhart from Slovenia was eighth, and Oscar Marsalkowski finished ninth.
