Tomáš Pekař dominates, excitement unfolds behind him

Tomáš Pekař continues with his winning streak after his double victories in the previous round, securing another win in the opening race of the Clio Cup at Slovakia Ring, which hosts the penultimate round of the season.

Pekař had an excellent start, maintaining the lead from start to finish with a comfortable margin. He consistently kept a gap ahead of second-place finisher Bartek Mirecki, who moved into that position after the opening lap.

On the first lap, Pekař already had a five-car-length lead and intense battles were happening behind him, with many cars fighting for the remaining podium spots. Mirecki emerged as the most successful, securing second place and creating a gap between himself and the others.

Julian Smiechowski showed great speed on the first lap but lost a few positions when he nearly slid off the track. However, he managed to keep his car within the white lines and continued. He even ran off the track later in the third turn but still managed to stay in contact with the other drivers.

There were numerous position changes between third and seventh place. Unfortunately, Filip Kunčer had to pit due to a puncture, and the battle continued without him.

In the final stage of the race, Julian Smiechowski fought his way through the field, moving into third place, where he defended against Nik Štefančič.

The lead remained unchanged throughout the race. Tomáš Pekař took the win, with Bartek Mirecki in second and Julian Smiechowski finishing third. Nik Štefančič came in fourth, and the top five were rounded out by Nikodem Sobczyk.

In the Clio Cup Trophy category, Valter Nežič took the win, followed by Marko Kazarka in second and Tomas Kazarka in third.
